Editorial Policy

Last updated October 22, 2026 · MyReadingManga Editorial Team

This Editorial Policy explains how articles on MyReadingManga are planned, written, checked and maintained. It applies to everything we publish on the blog, from manga reading guides and series reviews to articles on tech, travel, lifestyle, business, health, finance and crypto.

Who Writes Our Content

Articles are published under the byline “Editorial Team”. Each piece is drafted by a writer and reviewed by at least one other member of the team before it goes live. A shared byline reflects that our content is a collaborative effort and that the team as a whole stands behind its accuracy.

How We Choose Topics

We write about subjects our readers actually ask about: how to start reading manga, what separates manhwa from manhua, how new chapters are released, which series are good entry points, and practical everyday questions. We aim to answer the main question early in each article and keep the rest clear, structured and easy to skim. Where a general topic connects naturally to reading, comics or Japanese, Korean and Chinese culture, we make that link — but we never force it.

Research and Sourcing

Our writers research every article before drafting. We prefer primary and authoritative sources, such as:

  • Official publisher and creator information for comics and release details
  • Government agencies, regulators and public health bodies for health, finance and crypto topics
  • Universities, libraries, museums and recognised cultural institutions for history and culture
  • Official tourism and transport bodies for travel information

We link to external sources where they help readers verify a claim or learn more. We do not use anonymous forums or unverified social media posts as sources for facts.

Fact-Checking

Before publication, a second team member checks the article for accuracy, clarity and fairness. That review covers names, titles, dates, definitions and any claim that could mislead readers if it were wrong. If a fact cannot be verified, we leave it out rather than guess. We do not invent statistics, quotes, studies or experts.

Health, Finance and Crypto Topics

These topics can affect readers’ wellbeing and money, so we hold them to a stricter standard. We keep the content general and educational, cite official bodies, avoid predictions and personal recommendations, and remind readers to consult qualified professionals. See our Disclaimer for more.

Reviews and Opinions

Series reviews reflect the honest view of our Editorial Team. We aim to explain why a series works or does not, avoid major spoilers unless clearly marked, and keep opinion separate from factual description. Advertising and commercial relationships do not influence our verdicts.

Updates

Information changes. We review published articles periodically and update them when facts, links or recommendations go out of date. Significant updates may be noted with a revised date on the article. Broken links are replaced with working, equivalent sources, or removed if no reliable alternative exists.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix it promptly. Minor issues such as typos are corrected quietly; substantive factual errors are corrected and, where appropriate, acknowledged in the article. If you spot an error, please tell us through our Contact Us page with the article URL and, if possible, a reliable source.

Independence

MyReadingManga may earn revenue through advertising or affiliate links, but commercial partners never review or approve our articles before publication. Any sponsored or affiliate content will be clearly labelled.
